Client Process

At Garris Construction, Inc. we take pride in continuous communication, ensuring our clients' expectations are not only met, but exceeded.  Providing outstanding customer satisfaction is made certain by clearly defining our process and making sure our client is involved each and every step of the way. 
Each project is unique, and your project process may vary to better suit your needs.

Pre-construction Phase

  • Initial Inquiry is made by Phone or Email: discuss the project, timing, and schedule an appointment.
  • The Appointment: discuss the details of the project, inspect the site and take measurements to write up an estimate.
  • Estimate is created: based on your budget and preferences, a basic scope of work is provided.
  • Approval of Estimate: client to sign scope of work; initial deposit is made (15%).
  • Proposal is Provided: work out a design, specify all cost items and assemble a detailed proposal.
  • Schedule Approval Appointment: set an appointment to return and go over the budget details and design with material options.
  • Approval of Proposal: signed proposal and deposit is made (35%).
  • Timing Established: start date and timeline is established with client. Permits applied for if necessary.
  • Pre-construction Meeting: final meeting at site with client and lead carpenter/project manager. This meeting is set up to review final details and to answer any final questions.

Construction Phase

  • Work is Performed: Any changes/additions that are made, require an additional work change order which is signed by the client and billed accordingly.
  • Periodic appointments/calls with the clients throughout the project to confirm the scope of work is being completed as expected will be established.

Final Phase

  • A final walk-through will be set to ensure everything was completed to the proper specifications and satisfaction with quality workmanship. 
  • Final payment will be requested within 30 days.
